QUEST RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT SHOWCASES AUTOMATED INFORMATION SYSTEMS AT NAB '98
(Las Vegas, NV - April, 6, 1998) Quest Research & Development, a leading supplier of Automated Information Systems for broadcast, cable and internal television networks, will be demonstrating their latest products in NAB Booth 11776 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The following products will be on display:
New for 1998, Breakfast Bar automatically displays Time, Temperature, Driving Conditions and other information in the lower third. Breakfast Bar includes room for your Station ID and/or the logo of a sponsoring company.
This fully automated and flexible weather alert system is available in Single and Dual DVE versions. Q-Alert is on the air less than ten seconds after the National Weather Service sends out electronic notification. It includes a customized map of your viewing area, by county, with color-codes to indicate the type of watch/warning issued.
This is the most up-to-date system for automated School/Employer Closing and Emergency Accident Plan information. SchoolMaster can gather raw data continuously and automatically convert it into an easy to read display. With SchoolMaster, it isn't necessary to enter information by hand - a custom database is programmed with information about Local/Regional School Districts and Major Employers in your area.
Using AP or SportsTicker® feeds, SportsMaster automatically gathers and formats local, regional and/or national event information for your audience and displays it in an easy to read format. Surveys indicate that a high percentage of the viewing audience is interested in sports updates. With SportsMaster, your broadcast gains a clear advantage.
