WONDRA DENTAL CARE, P.C. OPENS IN RIO RANCHO
New Practice to Begin Seeing Patients on Monday, July 12

(Rio Rancho, NM – June 23, 1999) Kirk S. Wondra, D.D.S. announces the opening of Wondra Dental Care, P.C., a new full-service dental practice serving the communities of Rio Rancho and Bernalillo. The practice is located at 4320-E Ridgecrest Drive SE in the Rio Rancho Marketplace and officially opens on July 1, 1999. Patient care is scheduled to begin on July 12 at 8:00 AM and the practice accepts Delta Dental and other insurance plans.

Before relocating to Rio Rancho earlier this year, Dr. Wondra practiced for 4 ½ years in Las Cruces, NM with Las Cruces Dental Associates. He is a 1994 graduate of the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, the top rated dental school in the country according to U.S. News and World Report.

Dr. Wondra’s practice specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry using state-of-the-art techniques and equipment combined with a traditional approach to service and patient satisfaction. Patients of all ages are welcome and cosmetic procedures like veneers, all porcelain crowns, tooth colored fillings and tooth bleaching are available.

Over the past few years, there have been significant advances in dentistry equipment and Dr. Wondra embraces these changes. For example, Dr. Wondra uses an Air Abrasion Unit, which eliminates the need for shots and drilling in most cases. This is very popular with children and adults who are hesitant to seek dental treatment.

Dr. Wondra also offers Digital X-Rays, which provide immediate results on a computer screen. More importantly, digital x-ray technology decreases a patient’s exposure to radiation by up to 50% while increasing the ability to make a diagnosis from the x-ray image.

The use of technology helps in the diagnosis and treatment of dental patients, but it is just as important to treat patients with respect and courtesy. “I want to see my patients on time and make sure they understand how important they are to me,” says Dr. Wondra, “In my practice, we will strive to deliver the best dental care possible in a timely and gentle manner and to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction possible.”
